Raster Blaster accepts screened, raster TIFFs from any workflow and images them to one of the 150 output devices that Xitron supports. This allows you to manage your workflow in almost infinite configurations.You now have the ability to route RIPed files to virtually any output device. Multiple Device Support Raster Blaster provides the functionality you need to connect your existing RIP workflow to a new output device. It can also help you connect a new RIP workflow to your existing output device. Raster Blaster accepts screened, raster 1-bit TIFFs and outputs them to over 150 output devices that Xitron supports. One RIP drives many recorders You can configure Raster Blaster to help you use one RIP to drive many recorders. One RIP generates bitmaps for several recorders, allowing you to use just one high-end RIP to drive multiple devices simultaneously. Multiple RIPs Drives one recorder Raster Blaster can also connect multiple RIPs to one recorder. Even in this day of fast RIPs and networks, high resolution, imposed “8-up” jobs can make a recorder sit idle while a job is RIPing and trapping.When Raster Blaster is configured with two RIPs, it improves throughput.
